Neville Asherson, Esq. Senior Partner

Leon Hazany Esq. Associate
Leon is an associate at Asherson, Klein & Darbinian. His work focuses exclusively on complicated immigration matters including: Criminal Immigration Matters; Federal Litigation against the Department of Justice and Department of Homeland Security; Post-Conviction Relief; Immigration Detention; Removal Defense; Appeals; Asylum and Convention Against Torture; and Violence Against Women Act and Victims of Trafficking. He has lectured on removal defense and is consulted as an expert on criminal immigration matters, post-conviction relief and federal litigation involving immigrations issues. Leon has a J.D. from the University of Southern California School of Law and a B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles.
Leon practices immigration law throughout the United States. He is a member of the State Bar of California. He is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, Seventh Circuit and Ninth Circuit. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the Eastern District of California, the Northern District of Illinois and the Western District of Michigan. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Immigration Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
Anibal Sanchez Esq. Associate
Anibal is an associate attorney in our office with substantial experience in diverse areas of immigration law. Mr. Sanchez specializes in the processing of non-immigrant visas such as E-1 Treaty Traders, E-2 Treaty Investors, H1-B Specialty Workers, and O-1 Extraordinary Ability Petitions. In addition, Mr. Sanchez has extensive experience in processing immigrant visa petitions based on employment, and family immigration matters. Mr. Sanchez also represents clients in removal proceedings before the Executive Office of Immigration Review, and represents clients on appeal before the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Sanchez attended Stanford University, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California. He is admitted to practice law in California and is admitted before the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court of California, Central District, and the Northern District of Illinois. He is fluent in Spanish.
Anish Vashistha Esq. Associate
Anish graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, DC in 2006 and is the newest attorney to join Asherson, Klein & Darbinian. Prior to law school, Anish attended the Georgetown University Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, where he studied international politics and graduated with a B.S. in Foreign Service. The son of Indian immigrants, Anish was born and raised in Los Angeles. Specializing in state and federal litigation, Anish is licensed to practice in all state courts of California and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Beverly Hills Bar Association, and South Asian Bar Association of Southern California
Mia F. Renaud, Esq. Associate
Mia practices exclusively immigration and nationality law. She represents clients before immigration agencies and in immigration court in a variety of matters, including family and employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant visas, citizenship and naturalization, asylum, U and T visas, and humanitarian parole. She has extensive experience in employment-based immigration law, with a particular focus on visas for artists, entertainers and physicians.
Mia holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School (1997) and a B.A. from Brown University (1993). She is authorized to practice Immigration and Nationality Law throughout the United States. She is a member of the state bars of New York and Washington, DC. She is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Mia speaks fluent French and is conversant in Hebrew.
Kyounga Lee, Esq. Associate
Kyounga is an associate at the law firm of Asherson, Klein & Darbinian. She focuses on corporate immigration matters, as well as employment and family immigration matters.
Kyounga speaks English and Korean Fluently.
